Skoda Octavia airbag warning light - if this light comes on during normal vehicle operation it indicates a probem within the Octavia airbag system or module. You can find out where the problem is by using the iCarsoft i908 Skoda OBD Code Reader which will locate the problem. Once the problem is located and fixed the light can be removed.Had the same a lot of times. Most times it go away, but two times a reset with vcds was needed. After 8 month I hate that car, every day something fail.In the following mini guide we will find out together how to manually deactivate the passenger airbag in your new Skoda Octavia. Before starting, we remind you that this is an operation to be carried out only and exclusively in special cases (for example airbag malfunctions and/or other anomalies) and for short periods.
However there are many reasons a airbag light can come on, a fault code check is up first. If is is a side airbag fault and the connections have been done then its probably a fault with the airbag or the loom that is part of it.
Needless and pins. If an airbag light comes on, there might be a quick fix that avoids an unnecessary garage trip. The nearside airbag is linked to a sensor in the passenger seat, via a multi-pin
hi in this video is shown how to replace airbags and seat belts on skoda rapid and how to reset the airbag module
The heater fan speed controller is not a thyristor and it's not a relay, it's just a resistor. On a Mk1 Fabia the battery does not need disconnecting and the passenger airbag does not need touching to replace the resistor. You just remove the glovebox, which is dead easy. He disconnects the battery in this video but there is really no need.
As part of my stereo install (vRS tfsi), I had to take out the glove box. Didn't think anything of it as I had a mobile phone fitted last week and the fitter said he'd removed the glove box with no problems. I've done the same but now the airbag light is on the dash. (Yes I did remove the connect
